Night Guard 386

Hi all,

I am itching to buy a NG 386 and have a question that someone may be able to shed some light on.

I have noticed that some pics show the grip without finger cut outs and some do show the gun with finger cut outs. Do these guns come with two grips, or whats the scoop?

I just bought a 386NG and mine came with only one grip, and that grip has no finger grooves. It's just a smooth Pachmayr grip (Compac I think). Hope this helps.

I have only seen the one set of grips on them. The Non Finger Groove Pachmayers.
The grips that come on them soak up recoil pretty well, However the covered Back Strap makes the trigger reach a little long if you have short fingers.

A 386 NG being an L Frame, should make a fine carry revolver. I have its little brother a K Frame 315 Night Guard. Which is in 38 Special Plus P. It is a dandy carry revolver.
My first Night Guard is a 310, which is the N Frame in 10mm/40 S&W. Lots of horse power in a light package. It is a dandy also.

I have a 386NG with Hogue Grips that have the finger cut outs - only grips that came with/on it.
