Anyone have Nill grips on their K frame round butt gun? I'm thinking of putting a pair on my 66-1 2.5" and was wondering how they feel. Also, how do they compare to the old finger groove combat stocks that S&W use to sell (that now also cost a bundle)?

tks, c4

Are they even still made? I read here that Nill died several years ago.

Did he even have US dealers?

Karl Nill's U.S.A. distributor is MacTec, still very much in business.

Sorry I can't help with the K-frames, but the Nill Centennials are the best grips I've ever handled, no matter the frame size. No problem with .357s out of my 640 Pro. Also no problem with ccw.

For comparison, I like S&W's J-frame Combats, but they can't hold a candle to the Nill grips.

I got mine directly from Germany since MacTec has to order them anyway from the factory taking 4-8 weeks to come in......here they are on my 66. The fit and finish is impeccable.

Hey, it's only money and time. I ordered my grips and simply put them out of my mind and two months later I had a nice surprise. Of course they are about $150 bucks but then I have blown that on useless junk so why not.....I love how they look and feel though I have yet to shoot the gun with them......but I sure as heck enjoy looking at and handling them.
