Seems like the 908 has gotten a lot of attention lately and just by chance I found this one at my local pawnshop yesterday.
Story was that the original owner bought this, shot it one time and left it in the nightstand until he traded it in last week.
Finish isn't bad, a scuff here and there and the internals look new.
I tell you what, for a value series pistol, it looks 100% better than any Tupperware pistol that I own.
Price marked was $399, talked them down to $380 out the door.
I'm probably going to give this to my daughter for a CCW.
I'm really glad I decided to visit the local pawnshop yesterday!

You done did good! I just bought mine from guns.com. They had it listed for $400 and I offered $380 and the rest is history. Took it out shooting the other day and it is quite the gun! Fits my hand like a glove and love that trigger. Very accurate as well! Even though I bought it as a fun range gun this may be moved to #1 in the carry rotation.

Good price! Starting prices at the big auction site for 908s is over $600.

I have a couple 908s that I've seriously considered selling for $400 to forum members, but I need to have one of my kids take some pictures.

Enjoy your 908! They are a nice gun for carry, home defense, or just for fun shooting and skills building.

The 908 is a very good gun out of the”value series” line from S&W. I like mine a lot. The supposed down side is a thinner finish that’s more susceptible to wear.
