Would having internal revolver parts nitrided smooth up trigger pulls?

I don't think nitriding would be smoother than polished hardened steel that is properly lubricated.

I would think that any particular benefit to smoothness would be more a result of the polishing part of the process of QPQ nitriding than the surface treatment itself and could be realized just by polishing in general. Nitride does provide for good wear and corrosion resistance, though... so a polished part that's been nitrided could work out well, I suppose. However, the smoothness doesn't lend itself to lubrication retention - if that's important to you for some reason.
