There's a herd of deer on the upper part of my land today in broad daylite. I guess my twovbig deer feed blocks from TSC are working with the feed corn. The does from previous years plus the fawns who ate here in the past return everyear. This spring the baby fawns will eat here too. It's a on going cycle with them returning. Those two feeder blocks should make it till spring.
In a few months when the new fawns are born just seeing them makes it all worth it.

These deer actually roll or push those big feeder blocks around?
I need a third feeder block, because there really eating them now.

We have a herd on our acreage. Put up a feeder several years ago that goes off a couple of times a day. Plus I installed a remote on it, so the wife trips it anytime she deer at the feeder. We go through 50-75 pound of corn a week. I try to discourage her from feeding them year round, but it's to no avail. She likes seeing them.

I though about those blocks but figured the bear would just put it on his shoulder and walk back home :)

Guess you could drill a hole and anchor the block with a piece of rebar

They are like rats here, I see them constantly. Where I used to live, near a river, they were in fairly large numbers, but where I live now, it's just crazy. I went to work on Sat night, and there was a big buck standing next to my car, and he didn't move until I popped the trunk lid with the fob. There is an old house with an overgrown yard across the street from my apartment building and if I don't see them when I go out there at 11PM to leave for work, I wonder why. They are there 90% of the time,
