I started an account just to get in on this thread. I love revolvers sans flutes, it's the only way I'll have them.

Here are my two

Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 JM (Jerry Miculek version). 8 shot 357 magnum, 5" barrel, titanium barrel shroud & cylinder, with a scandium frame.

Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan 454 Casull.

I'll hopefully be picking up a S&W Performance Center 629 Competitor soon.

Re: the photo with the Ruger Bisley and the Randall knife....

That is an excellent set up for hunting. Mainly because I see many CCI/Speer Shotshells. I have found them most useful, I NEVER go into the field with out them. And you can never go wrong with a Ruger SA [even though I am a S&W DA revolver lover], and then there is the Randall knife. I know of no better knives, in handling or in the cutting, or ease of sharpening.

Is that the Bear Bowie???

Also, after seeing the great guns and photos you guys have posted here I am almost "ashamed" to own a revolver with flutes...

In my defense I do have at least one revolver without flutes...
