"No Lock" M&P 340 backorder

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE inform them that they also need to improve their quality control with these scandium framed guns and that you expect no less than the best from this legendary company.

Be aware that the company is heavily back ordered. Four years ago, Smith reached RECORD levels of product back orders, $123 MILLION in back orders. Last fiscal quarter Smith and Wesson's back orders reached $428 MILLION or so... trust me, they are swamped with orders.

Actually expecting the first paragraph given the facts of the second paragraph is a bit optimistic in my opinion.

There's one on GB right now currently at $736. I was thinking about it, but I've likely got a line on one locally. It was a little harder to find as you have to type in "m&p340" without spaces. I don't have any affiliation with the seller, just thought I'd pass it along as I've seen how scarce these things have been since I've started looking for one.

I e-mailed that seller, and he was very rude to me. I asked for some actual pictures (because he only showed a stock picture), and he asked "why? they all look the same" :(

Yeah, seems like you get that with some of the higher-volume dealers sometimes. I'm personally not too concerned with a photo of the actual gun when it's a current production NIB piece, but he probably could of handled your inquiry with a little more tact....customer service and all that.

In addition to the above post; I just checked the auction and it appears that he did end up adding actual photos of the gun in his ad.

from me?

Just scored an M&P 340 sku #103072 (no lock) on GunBroker with a "Buy It Now".

The "Saved Search" function works!

Nevermind, i just noticed that was an old post. Still hope you like the gun. Mine was great but just too much recoil for me. I carried it as a back up gun and only train with it support handed, one hand. OUCH....
