WTS Springfield Armory - Lew Horton special edition Compact 1911. This is a commander slide on a lightweight officer frame. 100% original w/ box and paperwork. Comes w/ 1 Wilson Combat 47OX mag. The gun has a 4" bull barrel and GI style recoil spring setup w/ reverse plug, mini guide rod and spring - not the plunger setup most bull barrel setups currently are. You take this apart like a traditional 1911 - no need for a pin or something for take down. It's nice for concealed carry - I was going to re-do the whole gun, but I want to focus on something else. Gun shows holster wear on the finish, but the finish isn't worn through, just dulled. Has an idiot scratch. It's used but not abused. Nice rare gun at a cheap price - functions 100%. **SOLD** Looking to possibly sell/trade my excellent condition Kimber Classic Custom. It was unfired until a couple weeks ago when I decided to put 50 rounds through it after sitting on it for quite some time. It is 100% original and is in excellent condition. I had another one I actually shot quite a bit and I think these are definitely better built than the series II models. I have the original matching box, paperwork, wrench, lock, bag, and 7 round magazine. In the spirit of full disclosure, the gun has a very faint "idiot scratch" which it had when I got it and it doesn't show up in the pictures. It also has a scratch under the slide release which is only visible when it is up.
