I have noticed that there are no more Mancini fried peppers in any grocery stores. Research shows that they decided to close in their 100th year. I have been enjoying these for 50 years.

There are many companies that make roasted red peppers, but nobody makes fried peppers.

I have one jar left. :eek::eek:. What a bummer:mad::(:mad::(

Dang! So that's what happened to them. Been unsuccessfully scanning the shelves for what seems about a couple of years.

One of my new buddies grows dozens of different pepper plants, we burned the skin off some with a weed burner and froze them, also canned some, even made pepper jelly. I found my new favorite is a Hungarian sweet pepper than is shaped like a heart, amazing pepper flavor without the heat, I ain't crazy about anything much hotter than an Anaheim or Poblano, my buddy likes them real hot...a little bit goes a long way for me when they are super hot. He makes his own dried pepper powder, using a coffee grinder...makes a wicked hot seasoning.

Maybe they've gone online only, because their website is still up.

The last post on their Facebook page was June 7th, talking about supply chain issues and that their production season was over. Maybe they are now back working on reduced production and selling online only. I put a 6 jar case of those in my cart and went as far as I could. Looks like it works to me.
