Hey all, Looking around to see where I would be able to source a non-fluted titanium cylinder for a 327 PC. The 327 JM PC came with one of these from factory, so I know its been done. Just unsure of how to get ahold of one. Thanks!

The 327 JM, product code 170254, was the only 327 variant to use an unfluted cylinder. These were introduced in 2005 and I believe 500 pieces were ordered.

The odds are against Smith and Wesson having any replacement cylinders still in inventory

You can start by posting a Want-To-Buy ad here on the Forum. I would also keep my eyes open on the various auction sites

I cannot help with an unfluted titanium cylinder, but I did not like the 125 grain or above ammo restrictions on the titanium cylinder on my 327PC snubnose (wanted to use lehigh defense copper) so I sent it in to S&W for an unfluted STAINLESS cylinder and really love the way it looks and it even takes some recoil away due to the added weight of the stainless. Cost was $160.

The actual warning in the firearms manual is to not use ammunition with projectiles of 120 grains or less.

This does not mean that the ammunition will not function in the revolver It is simply a caution that ammunition with projectiles that are lighter in weight while still being Full Power ammunition can cause premature erosion of the cylinder face.

All 357 Magnum ammunition is safe to shoot in your model 327 Pug Nose Revolver. Additionally all of the shorter/less powerful cartridges are safe to shoot no matter what the projectile weight. This includes the 38 Special, the 38 Long Colt, and the 38 Short Colt

The 357 Magnum 125 grain Jacketed Hollow Point is one of my favorite rounds and so far I've put several 1000 through my 327 Pug Nose

Good luck, you are more likely to find Amelia Earhart working at a diner in Arkansas then finding that cylinder for sale anywhere.
