He was one of the few show biz people I could stand. RIP.
He was only 61 when he died and considered by many as some of the best Howard Stern interviews ever. He will be missed.

I just found this out!
I am completely saddened by this news. He was one of my very favorite comics. I liked him on SNL, and pretty much everything else he did. He always made me laugh.
Prayers for his family, and may he rest in peace.

His OJ stuff on SNL was fantastic. It did piss off a top NBC honcho who wanted him to stop since he was friends with OJ. But Norm refused. It got him fired off SNL. But at least he didn't cave to some sniveling TV exec.

Easily the best "Weekend Update" anchor there ever was- sorry Chevy, Dennis, and Kevin. He was truly one of the great comics and will be sorely missed.
