A 3 digit National Match. Good shape.
Found at West Palm Beach show this past weekend.

Made 1957 ? Maybe a first year gun.

It joins a Jim Clark Jr. Colt 1911 found at pawn shop.

I removed a Bo Mar rib and installed sights.

And a nice old commercial Government model waiting for some sights.

This is a " Barrel Bushing" gun. BB stamped on the frame and barrel.

And a 1941 Military completely worked over with Bar Sto barrel and sights and front strap checkering etc.
Accurized and re worked from the ground up.

Delta Elite built by Mike Mancini.

Here's an unusual one.

A Colt 38 Special Kit. Built by John Giles Odessa Florida.

And , that's it for the Colts for now.

Great collection. The original NM is great and actually slightly smaller than a 70 Series. Great shooting target gun. Makes one appear to be a better shot ;)

The GCNM is definitely a 1957 gun.

Those are some very nice pistols.

I have a Series 70 custom built by Mr. Giles. Mine has the longer rib on it, and I love to shoot it.

PS - I looked up the serial number on the Colt web site, and they state that it's a "Gold Cup National Match .45"

It is my understanding that the earliest from 1957 to 1969 National Match were called just that.
My friend has one in the box and nowhere on the gun or box
does it read ' Gold Cup' .

The Gold Cup moniker was adapted in 1969 .
