Today I let go of a hard earned total of $377 for a new, in the box, Ruger Single Six, in 32 H&R Magnum. This dealer has had this little revolver in his inventory for years and just recently lowered the price on it.

It's blue with case hardening/coloring, 4 5/8" barrel and the white plastic grips. The envelope from Ruger with the fired casing is dated 2003. I've seen this revolver refered to as a "baby vaquero".

I've already got some 32 S&W and some 32 S&W Long on hand but, have yet to aquire any magnum rounds.

Anybody have any experience with these revolvers they would like to share? Was this a fair price?

TIA

Grear price. My wife has a couple of these in stainless, black birdshead grips, and she uses them in Cowgirl Action Shooting. If I recall correctly, one NIB cost about $360, and the other was purchased ANIB for about $550. Enjoy.

If I recall correctly, Hamilton Bowen, the gunsmith, is looking for this type of revolver for projects he is working on. If you are interested, I believe the Ruger can be bored out to accommodate the .327 Magnum, and it will still accommodate the .32 H&R Magnum, and .32 Long. I have a S&W Model 432 in .32H&R Magnum that serves as my EDC. I think the Ruger in this chambering would be an absolute blast.

Regards,

Dave
