not a smith but i need help

i have been trying to locate a 6 inch ss barrel for a ruger GP100 used. any leads where i might try

I'd try some of the custom gunsmiths who do a lot of conversions such as Bowen or Clements. They sometimes have take-offs.

Try Numrich (e-gunparts). They have tons of stuff and they are very honest and reliable. I have been buying from them for years.

Did you try the Ruger Forum? I seem to recall someone had some parts there recently. You can always put a WTB ad there and see if it gets results.
