Picked these up this morning at a LGS consecutive numbered .44 mag. $1600.00 out the door I probably to much but I could not leave them there. I was told they have never been fired other then at the Ruger factory.

What possible good is an unfired gun?.......Boat anchor? Book end? Window sash?.........Take them out and shoot them. try to wear them out in your lifetime. That would be impressive!........Saying I have 2 unfired pistols for the last 20 years........Not so much.

There are no unfired guns, those would be properly called paper weights. Nice buy!

I have a SB which had its barrel cut to 4-3/4" (not by me) which I used for some years as one of my CAS guns (the other being a Blackhawk in .30 Carbine). It handles a lot better than the original barrel length. I never fired anything in it other than .44 Special-level handloads in .44 Special cases. Maybe someday I will fire a few full-power loads. Or maybe not.

Couple of years back I bought 2 44 Mag Super Blackhawks SS, $600 for the pair.

Those are nice, but to me not worth the extra money. Especially since they will be fired.
