I was looking for my M1 Garand TE and MW gauges and found a 500 round can of Israeli 7.62 I didn't know I had. That makes my day!

I know how you feel, I was cleaning out my reloading room to repaint the other day and found about 750 rds of Lake City 7.62 in an old ammo can.

It felt like Christmas!

Last weekend I was cleaning out some old clothes that I have not worn in years and found my old scrimshawed mastodon ivory, ironwood and brass money clip. I thought it was gone forever. The best part about finding it was there were seven one hundred dollar bills in the money clip.

Many years ago when I was moving, I found an unopened crate of Chinese 7.62X39. It had two cans with 750 rounds each.

If I found that, I'd wonder whose trousers I had!

Well, I know they were my pants, I just coudn't fit my old fat ass into them these days. The best part of finding the money was the money clip. It belonged to my grandfather. He bought it circa 1910 in NOLA for 10 cents from a commercial fisherman selling shrimp, fish and crabs at the docks. Who knows how old it was when he bought it.

I turned the 7 notes into 900 FN 1952 manufactured 30-06 150 gr FMJ, 700 Federal HST 124 gr 9mm, 250 remmy 10mm 180gr FMJ, 500 rounds of 380 Winchester Silver Tip 85 gr (The holy grail, anything in 380), 400 rounds of Golden Saber 45 ACP 185 gr +P and 3300 rounds of Federal Champion 22lr. Unfortunatly no 38/357 of any flavor was available at the time.

It does help to be related to the person that sells you your ammo and such.

My personal attempt at economic stimulation.
