My grandson.Going to celebrate his first birthday later this week. The day he was born his feet were turning blue and the Dr. decided to life flight him to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh,Pa.They said his heart was not fully developed. They said with a degree of arrogance "We have seen this before and we can fix this."They rebuilt this little boy's heart like they were doing an oil change. They went in there and fixed him with all the confidence in the world.Today he is almost able to walk and he shows no signs of what he has been through. He is as normal as any other 1 year old.I thank them for their arrogance.

Great news to hear, he looks healthy as can be. It's amazing to watch them learn and develop, my son will be 2 years old this April and it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. It goes by too fast, cherish every moment.

It's not arrogance if it's true. It's confidence in one's ability to do one's job. I find it puts people at ease, as long as it's put forward honestly.

That is awesome news. Congrats on the great success, put in the hands of God and the Dr.'s. Enjoy every minute of life you have all been given. Nothing is certain.
