Guess you could call this a "revolver relapse". Bought a S&W model 64-4 for $375.00. A tad high, but I have a severe weakness for the K-frame round butt revolvers.
Action is glassy smooth and hits on the target are consistent.
Included were a couple speed loaders. That reminds me of the 70s when we shot combat matches and often had a snubby stage included. Of course, the speed loaders never helped "Mr. Fumblefingers" reload any faster...

The speed strip is stoked with dummy rounds for dry firing....

I've ordered a pair of original looking factory fake walnut grips from S&W just for the authenticity of it...

Have to admit the rubberized grips certainly help with today's peppier +P ammo.

My guess this is a circa early to mid 80s manufacture.

Nice looking clean gun. Where did you get it? Been looking for short barrel 64 or 65 myself. Mike

Nice gun, I carried one as my dept. issue for many years.

I think you did good at $375.00.

They aren't making em like this anymore and the short barrel is desirable. I have one that I inherited from a friend that died too young. It was hard to get the cylinder to open and is at the smith now.

Looking forward to shooting it when it gets back.

A private sale from a young gentleman who also just caught "Semi-Auto Fever". A "dual addicted" firearms owner is a sad case; I'm one of those, too!
