I've been a member for over 50 of those years, currently an Endowment member.
I'm a second generation enhanced Life Member of NRA. My dad was an Endowment Member and I'm a Benefactor Member.
I always like to tell this story about my late father. He became a Life Member of the NRA back in the late 1950s when regular Life Membership was $50 or $100. Fast forward to the 1990s when the NRA bought its current headquarters building. NRA was making a special fundraising appeal for the express purpose of paying off the mortgage on the new HQ building. Pop said to me, "I sent them a contribution because I felt guilty for living so long."
Pop lived for another 20 years after that!
