Hi I own the m@p 9mm full-size and in pro with 5" barrel. I also own the 9mm shield and 40 cal shield. My question is it safe to use on the m@p series firearms?

I'm guessing you are asking about a S&W M&P handgun.

I'm not sure which ammo you are asking about. Are you asking about Herter's ammo from Cabela's? If yes I see no reason why shooting that ammo in any gun that is in good operating condition would be unsafe.

If you are referring to the red polymer coated factory loadings, perfectly safe. Due to decreased metal to metal (bore and projectile) contact they may even put less wear on your gun.

Yes I was referring to the cabalas brand. I called s&w and they recommended not using aluminum cases at all which I found very strange
