NYPD 5946

I bought one of these here years ago and it's been sitting in my safe , I'm not much of a DAO guy . I brought out my 4586 after a post about them , cleaned it up and oiled it . Decided to do the same for my 5946 . My question is this . According to the bible the product code for the NYPD 5946 is 198569 , but on my box it has 108569 . Now I have a 4043 with the same thing , a product code that's not in the book . Seems it was a special order for a sheriff in the midwest and has it's own product code . Wondering if this is the same situation . Anyone else out there with a NYPD 5946 with the box that has a different product code ?

I can track 5 Mfg Numbers for 5946 at least 1 M/N (108569) with NYPD marked on box end. Most likely 198569 is a typo.

104026 - very early (0102 Date Code = 1990?) D trigger guard

108186 - (and recent 108186U) 022188 08186 1xxx & 4xxx date codes TVA42xx & VAK08xx (VAK verified NYPD Bronks but no NYPD box marking - SW dates to 3/1994) C trigger guard Novak Fixed Sight

148768 - 022188 48768x MJF22xx with odd SO date code 8768 (matching last 4 of Mfg No)

108569 - multiple S/N (TDP, VHM, VJB, VJE) & Date codes 8xxx, 9xxx, 1xxx (2 verified by SW as 1998, 1999) with box end marked NYPD

149332 - multiple S/N (VJE, UCK, UCU, UCY) and dated 2010-2016 (incl both Springfield, MA and Houlton, ME) believed to be NYPD but no box end marking

FWIW, my 3914DAO has a UCT prefix and was definitely a NYPD gun.

Thanks ACEd . My box has an end label that looks exactly like the one for 108569 , right down to the HC mag . The little sticker above the end label isn't the same , mine is 009801 . I imagine those might have been inventory numbers ?
