NYS Politicians make 3rd Mistake

They pass the new laws (some parts are OK like life in prison for killing a first responder) but AW ban and 7 round mag limit are just plain stupid

2nd
They forget to omit LEO from 7 round limit and Police now complaining they would be outgunned by criminals! Wait, isn't this law supposed to limit the bad guys to 7 rounds? Oh right, criminals don't follow laws.

3rd
Someone in Albany does a quick PowerPoint to show which handguns are not assault weapons and, well, let's have you play the game of find the mistakes. I think I found three.

I do not live in NY (New Hampshire) But if citizens put any creadence in this bill that clearly firinges on our second amendment rights, we may as well just kneel and Bow to the State of NY. I would tatally disregard any bill passed by elected officals that seem to forget the Oath they took to defend the Constitution. The second amendment trupms this foolish and dangerous law and would be disregarded as unconstitutional...to do anything less would be to throw away our second amendment. We have the right and the power to protect our freedom and I will not give mine up to some Politicion that has no regard for my rights and his Oath...They need a wake up call. This is our country and they were elected to serve the people, We are not their subjects or their sheep to be led to the slaughter. I am not affected by what Como did....but your rights and freedom are important to all freedom loving people and we need to stand together and say...this is illigal and unacceptable and we will not stand for it nor will we part with our semi-automatic rifles and high capacity magazines. They can not take what we will not give (Our Freedom) this is one for the NRA to tackle legally and I am sure its on their target list. Next election, these guys need to be on our Target list.

They have the LCR and GP100 labels reversed (I counted this as two errors).
They show a regular Blackhawk labeled as a SBH.
They show a S&W 500 Magnum labeled as a Ruger Vaquero.

The rifle one has some howlers too. They labeled a '98 Mauser as a Springfield (worthy of a giggle) and a Remington 700 as a Winchester 70.

That's just not true. Cuomo removed your rights from you overnight. He gamed the system, got his cronies to back him and got legislation passed and signed before anyone could raise an eyebrow let alone an objection. The anti gunners own the system, it is their business. Their business is to make you their subjects. Your choice is to stop that from happening or become the serfs that Cuomo and his political ilk believe you to be.

If I were a betting person I'd say it's too late. Cuomo won his election by an overwhelming landslide majority. Elections matter when your rights are concerned. You didn't think Cuomo would ban your guns? Cuomo banned your rights at the first opportunity just like Obama will if given a chance.

Far as I know, US armed forces have used all of those to great effect historically. So I guess the term "assault weapon" really has nothing to do with either weapons, or assaults.

I highly recommend following the link in the OP and read what is there, especially where it says "click here". You are looking at what the Dems will be passing in the US Congress by spring. This will be the start of a total ban and confiscation of ALL firearms. I don't want to break anyone's rice bowl, but this country is being run by a small group of politicians who want total control of everything we do or say. Don't let them!

I am sincerely hoping that everyone from the citizens of NY to the LE personnel who are also being affected by this inane legislation will support each others rights and stand together in opposition of it. I would like to believe that the combined efforts of both communities would be enough to get Governor Cuomo to reconsider.

Cumo acted a lot like Hitler and he should grow him one of those little mustaches so he would be a little more convincing . The speech that I saw on TV of his gun grab made him look like the fool that he really is..
I hope that the good gun owners of New York only have this joke for Governor one term. 80% of gun grabbers are Democrats .
