Seems perfect mechanicaly, dirty now. Will give a good cleaning. Looks like it was carried quite a bit

Definitely did not leave the factory like that, so either parts were swapped or the slide was refinished. Not a horrible price for what it is here in early 2025. It's a shooter grade pistol, so go shoot it and don't forget to post a range report.

I’m betting it was originally an all blue gun and someone wanted to make it fancy. They did a good job. After a full disassembly and cleaning it looks and functions great. Perfect bore. They even nickeled the barrel! Looking forward to taking it to the range. Will report back.

The barrel might have been plated, but I kind of doubt it as plating can mess up clearances. The barrel, being carbon steel, may have simply been polished.

Appears to be plated, even the magazine is plated. Maybe the guy worked at a chrome shop, 😂

Yep, your barrel was plated and it's flaking off in some spots. That's a good reason to not nickel plate a semi-auto pistol barrel. Hard chrome plating works better as it has a much stronger bond to the underlying steel, so long as the steel is properly prepared for plating.
