Have a 3.5" 27-2 that I would like to trade for a semi auto Auto Ordnance Thompson Tommy Gun with a steel receiver or a well used but reliable M1A in .308. No other trade or cash offers please. Have a AMT Back Up in .22 LR I'd throw in on the deal. It's in great shape but needs a magazine as I lost it during one of our many moves.
The 27 is absolutely beautiful but the previous owner let it set in a holster resulting in damage to the finish on the cylinder and just the cylinder. The damage did not pit the steel and is just on the surface and does not effect the entire cylinder. Been meaning for years to send it off and have it refinished but never got around to it as I just don't shoot it. S&W can do it for 80.00 and match the deep blue up so close it would be hard to notice according to them and Fords.
It has one of the old deep blue jobs and really is a beautiful revolver that would be a welcome addition to a collection. Round count is less than 200 rounds. I shot exactly 18 rounds of .38's through it and its been in the safe ever since. Very accurate revolver.
