Offical S&W X-Frame picture thread

My first attempt at posting pic's so don't laugh too much....

My 500 in the case. After thinking about how to keep some rounds with the gun, I used a drill and an empty case to put some holes in the foam to store some rounds, Also I cut a slit at the bottom front of the barrel to store the allen wrench used to remove the compensator:

Hey, would you do me a favor and measure that case LxW, I got one from S&W , said it was large for the 8 3/8" barrel but mine barely fits , even on an angle!

Thanks ,Scott

Not a problem! It's 11, 1/8" wide by 18, 1/4" long. Also this is the case she came in from the factory...

A little update, I've altered my pair a little. Put a scope on my long one , and if you remember up in post 12 I said I had a thing for orange so I altered the little one too.

Here's mine just added the bi-pod, going to do some load development now.

Yes Sir I do... But I have found that my particular 460 doesn't like anything within 1gr of max load of h110 as listed in Hodgdons data without stubborn extraction.

Settled on 47.7gr of h110 pushing a 240gr XTP Mag. At 48gr I get sticky extraction.. Never tried the max of 48.5 listed by Hodgdon.
