Supply and demand, or rather lack of!

Still crazy the 10rd long is $10 cheaper, and the 25rd is cheaper still - something seems wrong but since I have no need for 10rd magazines it works for me.
 
I got (2) 10 round shorts from Midway on Tuesday for $18. They were in stock for about an hour or so.

Ordered a 25 round mag from Delta 3 Outfitters 6 months ago, I finally got it in the mail today. Forgot that I even ordered it.
 
I just bought a couple 10rd and 25rd mags on eBay. I didn't know the 10rd mags didn't have the load assist buttons! I did find a really good magazine loader that works great on the 25rd mags called Hilljak Quickie loader. Actually very simple and different from Maglula type loaders.
 
My S&W 10 Round Short Mags have the load assist button. Just looks like a shortened 25 Round Mag.

You must be dealing with the blocked or pinned 25 Round Long Mags.
