Well, that's unfortunate. I've never had any negative issues with mine. Maybe in 100 years it'll be a collector's item....:D

I would never buy the 2.0 because the 1.0 was exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it 10 years ago. I feel the same way today.

I shan't miss it. I tried to dry fire one once. With my skinny hands and long fingers, it moved all over the place before the hammer dropped. The trigger pull covered a couple of zip codes.

If Smith hadn't produced the 2.0, I could have been entirely content with the original. Wanted something LCP sized, but much more shootable, with decent sights. The double action was no big deal for a DA revolver shooter, and TruGlos made the decent sights into great sights. Have two good ones, and one that wasn't reliable. . Between the long trigger, hammer full down at rest, and firing pin block...safest small pistol, ever.
And then they came out with the 2.0....which holds more, and is easier to shoot, better ergos. Jury is still out on changing the sights; have the BG1.0 rears on both of mine.
