I've been posting the shows in the 'reloading' forum in the 'Ohio folks are lucky' thread but shows don't really belong under reloading. In 2014 I asked the FORUM OFFICE about a forum for show listings and was told to use the 'lounge',so i'll be updating this thread weekly with links.

Jan. 16 & 17 2016 shows.

Eastlake,a small show
LG Firearms Productions, Lake County Gun Shows

Medina
Conrad & Dowdell Productions : Show Calendar

Wilmington, same location as the OGCA shows
Wilmington, OH

feel free to respond to the thread if you went and how the show was !

Went to the Eastlake show, was there from 10am-10:30am. Small show but larger than it was held at the Radisson. Parking lot full and a good amount of 'patrons'. Picked up a 10XX magazine(from the big magazine/clip guy) and a AR10 5/8 thread muzzle flash suppressor/brake device(for the Ruger Ranch 300AAC).
Then off to the Medina show. Parking lot packed and huge crowd, frenzy, frenzy, frenzy. Was there from noon - 2. Picked up 25 plastic ammo boxes(for reloads) and some misc. brass.
Stopped at FFF on the way home. Decent crowd, handgun cases getting depleted. Picked up a trimmer pilot and a 41M shellholder.
Went back to the Eastlake show on the way home,I live close to it. One of the tables,in the morning, had 5 bags of 44M brass at $20 per 100. Only 2 bags were left and now they're on my reloading bench. Bigger crowd at 3pm than there was at 10am.
The reloading stuff that I wasn't able to get at FFF I'll order online.
Lot of time and lot of travelling but it was a good day.

When the show was actually in Canton, it was pretty decent. People who didn't come to Medina or Berea had tables, often with things you didn't see elsewhere.

I don't recall hearing about a show previously in Norwalk. I used to live in Fremont and would have gone. There used to be a decent little hobby shop in Norwalk. I don't know if they're still there, but if you like Squadron-Signal military books, they both had a good selection and were willing to order.

That show in Canton that you're probably referring to is the Canton East show which is for March 5 & 6.
The Norwalk show is right off the RT20 bypass around Norwalk at the Huron County Fairgrounds.

Edit: I've been to that Canton East show twice and yes you see tables/collectors that you don't see at the other shows. The promotor,Heritage Gun Shows, has a following that don't appear at the other shows.

Went to the North Canton and Liberty/Niles gun shows today,Sunday.
Did the North Canton show first, got there about 10 and was there for about 1/2 hour. Small show and small crowd. Picked up a 50 box of Rem 45 colt fired brass for $5(don't have or shoot 45 colt, just planning for the future as I want to get a S&W 460),a 20 box of Win 41 mag silvertips, and a 20 box of the 'new' Polycase Inceptor 9mm 74gr ammo.
Next was Liberty, was there about 2 hours, good show large crowd. Picked up another 10XX magazine,a 20 box of Federal 41 mag 'defensive type' ammo, some misc bullets and 6 S&W 'Protector' handgun cases. 2 small for pistols/small revolvers and 4 large for revolvers up to 8 3/8. At $10 each for a S&W product, couldn't pass them up.
Was a good day.

6 hour and 195 mile round trip.

The Canton/Stark show is the same promoter as Berea,Akron,Liberty,Dalton. Same Vendors Same Collectors. Similar to cold weather Berea show,2 heated buildings and they're not large.
I'll probably try the Mansfield show.
for me,2 hours is local compared to a N.C. show.

Went to the Mansfield show today,Saturday.
I went to it in May of 2015 and swore never again,it was terrible. Well because of my addiction of needing to go to gun shows,I went. It was great, totally different from last year. All 200 tables full, even a small side room had to be utilized. Absolutely packed with show-goers,aisle walking was difficult. Didn't find any firearms I was searching for,but that wasn't surprising. Picked up some collectible ammo/brass and 4 S&W magazines. A CS40,a 40 9rd,a 40 11rd,and a 45 7 rd.
Stopped at FFF Ashland on the way back.Handgun cases were full as compared to last week at FFF Middleburg Heights handgun display cases getting empty. Bought 511 tactical shorts for the upcoming amusement park season.

5 1/2 hour/189 mile trip.

I also went to the Mansfield show and it was packed. Bought a spare mag I've been looking for, a SD40VE, a speed strip for my revolver, some ammo priced right. Would have bought more, but I ran out of money. May have to go back tomorrow. Lots of rifles for sale, even some politicians giving their spiel about they're the only candidate with a ccw.

Well I guess it's time to post Feb.6 & 7 shows.

Did good!

Ghlover, watch here in the lounge on March first for the NE Ohio Bunch, spring meeting. Glad some of the S&W guys went there. Roger, how'd you do if you went? Larry

Hey Larry...Did good at Mansfield. Sold a lot of small items. Lots of S&W people there. Many good conversations. BIG crowd! Lots of tire kickers like at any show, but seemed more prevalent possibly due to latest developments. Time will tell...Roger

Thanks Oldman!

Hey Oldman...I gotta thank you for doing this about the Ohio shows! I really appreciate this. Thank you again...Roger

The only thing that wasn't over priced at the last Gun Show I went to was the Admission Price.
Granted They are fun but I find I get better prices on the Internet of My usual Gun Shop.

Plans changed about going to the Lima and Monroeville shows.
Today,Saturday Feb. 6,went Akron show. Got there about 10:30,was there about 3 hours, absolutely packed with show-goers,frenzy,frenzy,frenzy,ammo,ammo,ammo. Picked up some misc tools from the tool guy,a couple OEM S&W pistol magazines, some 35Rem brass,an old box of Remington 22cal 'PowerLokt' bullets and a 50rd box of Norma 38sp 110jhp ammo for my collectable ammo.
After the show, stopped in at State8 motorcycles looking at cycles for one to replace my current 2009 Yamaha FZ6.

Oh,and at the show today, picked up one of my 'grail' guns. A Weatherby MarkXXII 22,vintage 1967-1971 KTG Japan. They range $800-1500,I couldn't get my money out fast enough when it had a $400 price on it. I know the 'collector' as I've talked to him many times before,he had it on the table for a friend
