Wouldn't you want to differentiate between "enbloc" and "stripper".

And no, I will not put up pics of various strippers!

Don't forget that the Brits called them "chargers" not "stripper clips". Not sure if they would say "enbloc charger" with reference to the M1 Rifle system.

Bob, we wouldn't complain if you wanted to post pix of stippers...

Now can someone explain to me the difference between a bullet and a round? They're all round.

Rounds are what they make coins out of...
Also known as planchets.

A bullet is a single projectile from a firearm cartridge- which is a component of the cartridge, not the cartridge itself.

Cartridges have single projectiles (or perhaps, in special cases up to three, such as those "stacked" bullets or pre-fragmented bullets). Shells have multiple projectiles.

Shells are also good with cheese.

"Round" can also mean "cartridge". It's generic enough to cover "shell" too, I think.

"Ammunition"

Ammunition is what you use in your firearm for it to go bang

"Ammunition" is also a prayer: "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition"

Please explain the usage purpose of this piece...
I've never seen and en-bloc like that.
Curious minds want to know.

Does it throw it out after the first two rounds are fired? Used for funerals or matches?

Broomhandle clips don't go beside 1911 magazines; they go beside Broomhandle magazines, either integral or detachable.

Clipped Clips have been in use for a number of Years for certain High Power Rifle Matches. Also, a 5 rounder is made to allow the use of the Garrand in those States that have restrictions on how many cartridges you can load in your "Hunting" rifle. Other States have adopted restrictions on how much your "Hunting" rifle can weigh to keep the .50BMG out of the woods!!! Kind of like the two in the magazine and one in the chamber restriction on shotguns used on Waterfowl in this Country.
