# 4 buckshot is completely different than a #4 shotshell. I'm sure someone will come along soon to provide the technical data.

1600 fps, all 9 of 'em!

4-legged critters(depending on size)..."T" shot to "4" buck via Browning 10 gauge pump...3 1/2" shell.

2-legged critters..."4" buck(opening round)immediately followed by "00" via Browning 10 gauge pump...3 1/2" shell.

That link brings to mind the following questions:
Why is there no #2 buck?
Why is there no #10 or #11 shot?
Where in the heck did #7.5 come from???
Is there any discernable difference in performance between #7 & #7.5???
Do they still make F size shot any more-if not-then why not??
Now THESE are some questions!!!

#4 Buck also -
I live in a townhouse and have been told that the #4 buckshot would not over penetrate as much as 00 buck.

Bruce

1 1/2 oz of copper plated 5's or 6's in turkey load persuasion. 6 in the gun and 6 more on the stock.

Low recoil 00 buck in the 12 ga.
3" No. 2 buck in the 20.

Guess which has the more annoying recoil.

#4 buckshot because it patterns great in my Benelli Nova, won't penetrate too many walls, and my LEO nephew gave me a dozen boxes of the stuff!

Something else...let me splain.

3 1/2" magnum BB (Bismuth...couldn't find it in lead)first round, the rest are #4 Buck 3 1/2" magnum then #1 Buck...improved modified choke.

My kids rooms are across the great room, longest shot is 50ft across family room and the shot pattern stays mostly within a 12" circle at that distance.
