I'm sure this has been discussed at some point in this forum, but I can't find the info I need in the search function... I'm new to reloading, so I'm not sure if I can use small pistol magnum (Remington 5 1/2s) in place of regular small pistol primers.
Again, I'm new, so I'm just loading light target loads right now; 9mm (115 FMJ with 4.3gr. of W231). I'm also looking to load cast bullets in 9mm (124gr.), and I'm also going to try some Bullseye power loads... I may also begin loading for .38spcl soon.
What do you guys think of using the SP Magnum primers in my applications? I appreciate the feedback, as I've got some SP Magnums lined up, but cannot find (of course...) the regular SP primers.
Thanks!
