I recently was given this and an old Colt 38 D.A. for selling an old Winchester 1895 for a customer.
It says 5420 in the crane,it is a 5 screw and has the strain screw as well.Fixed sights and 32 long ctg on the barrel. The barrel is 4" long.Serial number on the but is 54427.Any ideas as to date of manufacture or value?
There is slight cylinder play and it seems to index and fire properly in single and double action.Very nice patina and the black plastic grips are in very good shape considering the lack of finish on the gun.
The last pic is of the Colt.
