It may be my red-neck attraction to shiny things; trucks, boats, beer cans, gold triggers ect.....

All of my Rugers having bull barrels; something about the Browning slab sides are attractive.

After a long dark period, they all came out to play today:cool:

For something older but sleeker.......it’s the Browning Nomad. I bought this in 1963.

WOW.....Nice Pistols!

Can only imagine how well they shoot..
These young discontinued Buck Marks have exceptional factory triggers and ergonomics.

If and when I see a really old Browning... I won't hesitate to grab it.

Thanks for the old Browning 22 pics, they seem to be rare.

The Browning Nomad was the entry level.....mine cost me a summer of lawn mowing $49.95..I was 14..couldn’t believe my mom said ok! Challenger 1&2 were more expensive. I think all were made in Belgium.

I will not lie,i'm just jealous,those are beautiful.

I picked this one up a few years ago. Love the gun. Had to replace the recoil buffer as it kind of fell apart when I took the gun apart to clean it after purchase. I guess that was pretty common for these because of the material they used.

I had a Nomad way back in the late 60s. I traded it off for something.
I don't even remember what now but I wish that I still had it. I have a Micro Buckmark with a 4" slab sided barrel that I bought new at a gun
show several years ago. It's not as pretty as the old Belgium Brownings
but it's a good gun and I'll keep it.

Nice collection!
When it comes to .22 pistols, I'm admittedly a Ruger MK guy. That said, Browning Buckmarks have earned a place in my heart (and collection.) IMHO, Buckmarks are one of the few inexpensive pistols that will stand closely toe to toe with the Rugers in the accuracy department. ( ...and one ofthe few that you'll see in numbers in bullseye leagues.) Their triggers are actually better than factory MK III/IV's and can be greatly improved with the simple ,no cost, "Heggis Flip" spring mod.

Here is the latest Buckmark added to my collection. It is the 2017 Shot Show edition 5.5" Black Label model. It is also a VERY sweet shooter.

My 10" Silhouette: It just dosn't miss Rams at 100 yds!

Classic "Old Schol" beauty!:
