Old Detective Special came home,,,w/pic

I know I know, It's a colt,,, But sometimes us gun accumulators just cant leave a gun that needs a new home.
It surprised me too, I didnt look for this one, But it looked too much like an early Pre 36. And I have wanted a 5 screw Chiefs special for 2 years now with a 1/2 moon sight. But I just could not leave this one sit... I dated it to 1938 and I am happy, \\\\\ Now I really need that old 1/2 moon Chiefs special.

Congrats! My 1961 vintage Cobra is my favorite BUG, and summer carry revolver. Regards 18DAI.
