Hi all !
I just bought an old hand ejector two days ago .
The serrial number is 153631 .
It looks like it may have been on the Titanic , WW 1 and WW 2 Korea and most of Veit Nam . Then I think it went to Africa for a few wars.

I almost just walked away on looks alone . When I looked it over it was hard to believe just how tight it was is yoke is tight , it has timing better than most smiths Ive ever seen.

The springs are strong I couldn't find a reason to not buy it so I did .
250 bucks out the door ....they had a remington bulk pack so I bought it too.

Then I went to the hinterlands and shot it . I couldn't tell about accuracy the sights are very small . But it shot just fine . Thank you for any info.

Likely shipped in 1911, so it would be called a 38 M&P, 3rd Change. Is it a round-butt or square-butt? This model was made from 1909-1915 in serial number range 146,900 to 241703.

old revolver

It is a square but .
Basicly silver ...kinda.
The patent dates are on the right side of the barrel.

I understand about pics .I don't know how to post them .:(

Gary, it does say S&W on it?

My neighbor was excited about his new antique revolver he got. It turned out to be a Spanish copy/clone of a S&W. That is why we ask for pictures.

The Remington bulk pack was a good choice for practice. Sarge
