Anyone know where you might find one of these. Threads are stripped and won’t stay in. Sorry about the picture. Let me try again. Yes it is an ejector rod from a very early 5 screw Smith. I have no idea what year but it does not have any provision for a return spring. I have tried Numerich and could not find anything close.

A horrible photo, but it looks like an ejector rod. Not sure of the revolver model.

Try Jack First, or Numrich. (Gun Parts Corporation) There are also some reputable vendors on ebay that sell vintage parts. When searching, you will need an accurate description of the revolver model and vintage.

It appears to be an extractor rod from before 1927, when that early style knob was replaced with one shaped like a barrel.

Keep in mind those threads are right hand, not left, which, on the Military & Police model were changed to left hand threads in 1961 (the Model 10 by then).

It looks like an extractor rod that is on my model of 1903 .32 S&W long. The old Victory models have the same looking part.

Just a SWAG given the poor photo quality...

If you know the thread pitch, you may be able to have a pistol smith laser weld some material back on to the end and recut the threads

Thanks, I llooked at that one. The one I have does not have any flat turned down. It goes from the threads to the big diameter of the ejector rod.
