If you have pictures, and don't know how to post them, send them to me via
email, and I will post them for you. [email protected]

The pictures have to be posted on one of several public hosting sites. What you
put in your message is the pointer to the picture.

You can go to www.photobucket.com, register, and then click on Browse. The
pictures need to be on your machine, in some area like My Documents. It will
upload the pictures to photobucket. Then copy the IMG address to your internal
buffer ( via CTL-C ) then transfer it to your message via CTL-V .

I am not an expert but checking the serial number in the book I think the top gun is a .32 Hand Ejector Third Model built on the I frame. Made 1911-1942 the book doesn't break down production year by year so we don't know when yours was made other than somewhere in the middle of the run.

Again, looking at the book, I think the bottom gun is a .32 Double-Action Fifth Model made 1909-1919. Yours would be close to the end of this run.

If I have it wrong somebody will correct me.

Thanks a lot for information.
If anybody can help with the exact year...
thanks

The only way to get the exact year is to write S&W and order a factory history letter.

At $30 they are cheap. The S&W web site has the information and you can down load the forms and instructions.

FWIW

Does anyone know if pearl grips like the ones shown on the top revolver could have came from the factory? I've got the same .32 with a very close serial number and the same pearl grips. I know some pearl grips came with the S&W logo, but am not sure about these. I guess I need a letter too.

I received the letter:
-the black grip is from june, 4 1913
-the white grip is from september, 2 1926 (the white grip is aftermarket, according S&W letter
Thank you all
