Old time gunshop?

Moved from Ohio to just north of San Antonio about 9 months ago and have not been able to find a small gun shop in the area. I don't much care for the big box shops. Anyone know of any shops to visit?

It has been sometime since I have been in San Antonio, but Nagel's was a neat shop when I was there. I just got the phone book out and started going around. Saw several good shops , but Nagel's made the best impression.

If you ever get to Houston go to "Collectors", they have a neat store.

In Dallas go to Rays Hardware.

Nagel's has a lot of used guns, but they have a reputation for high prices. There are several smaller stores that are hit-or-miss, but none are handy if you are north of town.

Try the gunshow the weekend of 7/24-25 at the Alzafar Shriner's on 1604.

Bayou Bend gunshop in Cleveland, Texas is an old, small fashioned gun shop in a building in a man's back yard. Few screaming bargains but fair. Call ahead for hours and selection. I recommend Carter's Country with three locations in Houston (One on I-10 west). There are a number of other small gunshops in town, but I have not bought from them.
