I enjoy watching old television shows from the 50's,60's and 70's
The one thing I enjoy seeing is the cars of the day which are now considered to be antiques. Some characters even had custom cars for their show and character.

Here are two automobiles that were used for the same show, Both were customized by George Barris
Do you remember the show and the character?

Of course one of the most famous, purchased from Ford for a dollar!

I always liked Perry Mason's cars. IIRC, in the first few years he drove a big black Caddy convertible. It was great, but ...

Later, Ford became a sponsor and began supplying the cars. Then he drove a huge Lincoln 4 door convertible. You know, the one that had 'suicide doors' for the rear doors.

Bond was familiar with them as well ...

Here's one with a musical background?...

I never watched the Monkees when I was a teen ('60's) but my oldest daughter fell for them in her teens ('90's) when their music and shows were enjoying a bit of a resurgence.

My wife and I have been watching Starsky & Hutch for the last few nights....when I was a kid, I never realized how huge that 1974 Torino was. We also have Kojak on DVD....if you look closely in some episodes, you can see the badge on the fender....."Century 455".....that big Buick must have been a real hoot with a 455.

In later episodes of the old Superman TV series, George Reeves drove Dick Powell's Nash-Healey.
