I shoot 4.0gr W231 under a 158gr LSWC in my Airweight revolvers. (and other .38 Revolvers too)

I like the 158gr LSWC for most all my 38's. They're accurate enough for me. To me the 38's were made for a 158 gr bullet.

I USED TO LIVE IN BURLINGTON. reloads, loaded some 158swc over 3.8 gr.w231 and some 125 grainers over 3.6gr. w231 we will see what works:D

You should be fine with 3.8 gr of W231 for the swc. I use 3.6 but we're splitting hairs. I've loaded to the low limit, 3.2, with no problems but never higher than 3.8. I also like 148 gr hbwc with 3.0 gr and 148 gr dewc with 3.2 gr (of that same powder).
And I know Burlington well. It's known to native Vermonters as "the other Vermont".
