The number inside the the cylinder is 10704 , the serial number on bottom of the barrel and grip is 44619

Let's try this---how many screws does it have?

Never mind---does it have a screw into the frame---the bottom/front of the frame----just in front of the trigger guard?

If it doesn't (and without me bothering to check serial numbers), it's some sort of Model of 1902 Military & Police revolver----or maybe one of the ugly ones that came before that----which I have studiously avoided knowing much of anything about.

If that number is from the butt of your revolver, you have a much older K frame than you think. #44619 makes it a Model 1902, 1st Change model, made between 1902 and 1905. This revolver model did not have the 5th screw ahead of the trigger guard and had a dual spring mechanism. Great guns, and likely near 120 years old. This model was available in black hard rubber or walnut stocks.

Let me add an image of one of my 1902s with a 6 1/2" barrel.
