I enjoy watching them, but I don't feel the same excitement I used to feel in the late 60's or early 70's.

They seemed like a much bigger deal back then.

Will be interesting to see what others think.

If they would put out a "Good" list of when the games start or what dat & hour they can be watched.......................
I would be a lot happier about watching the games.

When I find out I missed the games that I like or that they will not be shown, I get ticked off.

^This. I also find all the "human interest" stuff a waste of good viewing time that could show actual sport. The US TV channels will never show a sport in which an American doesn't have a chance of a medal. That's not what the Olympics are about. It's sport for all, if you don't get that and understand how to show it, don't bother.

Yes! I love athletic women, so track and field and beach volley ball are all I'm interested in. I don't care who wins. I'm just being honest.

Edit: If the majority of the US Women's National Team members refuse to show pride in their country's national anthem by NOT at LEAST placing their hands over their hearts, and showing contempt on their faces, like they did for the World Cup matches and before, I'll be actively rooting against them, again (I'm glad they didn't make it out of the group stage). That being said, I'll be rooting for Spain - they're fun to watch.

I enjoy the Olympics, but don't agree with many of the sports, e.g., golf, basketball, surfing, flag football, etc.

I became acquainted with a gentlemen that was in the mexico city olympics in 1968 riding his bicycle for the USA . Said they were given a " per diem " allowance of $2 / day . He explained to me how in popular sports now like Basketball , the players all have managers and it's decided how many minutes they will play , what quarters , do they start the game or not ? I had not kept up and didn't realize how things had changed . Regards Paul

I'll watch whatever event doesn't have commentators yapping away during play/action. So, none of them.

The sports I'm interested in, Rifle & Pistol shooting, are never shown. They are the quite often the first Gold Medals won in an Olympics, and have more Gold/Silver medals awarded than a lot of other sports.

Sometimes events are hard to catch with the time zone differences and the footraces and swimming taking priority. I like the field events such as shot put, javelin, discus and hammer throws, the jumps plus the firearm and archery competitions along with the different wrestling styles.
If i catch any of it that's great, otherwise oh blah di oh bly dah.
