Since some ideas are great and no one wants to stop wishing for products that Smith just doesnt seem to want to make I will throw in my thoughts one more time. Some may remember that I mentioned we should all give it a rest. I felt this way because it seemed Smith doesnt listen (or at least we think they dont). But here is my wish list again:

The model 696 (44 special) with longer barrel options.
A K-frame or L-frame .327 Federal revolver (full-lug barrel).
The model 14 with a full-lug barrel.
A stainless model 14 or 614? with a full-lug barrel.
An L-frame .38 with a full-lug barrel.
An N-frame .44 special with a full-lug barrel.
A Sturmgewher 44 (semi-auto of course) in 7.92X33 that more people could afford.
More 5" inch barrel revolver options.
A damned good cup of coffee.
Their entry into the AK market.
A good printed cataloge and a up-to-date website. (including stocking dealer pieces)

Well thats it.

Amen on the K-327!

Do you think it'd help if we mailed them a big screwdriver? They could use it to pry their thumb out of a place it shouldn't be in the first place and build a nice .327 Magnum!

I threw in the 327 because a few of my friends have purchased them in another brand. However they still crave a good double action Smith in this caliber. It seems to be a great cartridge and it does what the 32 H&R perhaps was meant to be. I had a 32 in another manufacturers revolver and found it "greatly wanting" or needing good sights, a longer barrel and a better trigger. Only Smith could do this and a 327 would be neat. I might even buy one and it would give me the performance I wanted . Good luck maybe they will build it.
