I hate to beat a dead horse. But my model 19-3 six inch just feels so good in
my hand. Please share some of your favorite K frames.

So many to choose from. These three are kind of nice. A 1985 M19 Nickel and a 1982 M19 Snub followed by a 1963 M10-6 in Nickel.

Asking me to pick my favorite K frame is like asking me to pick my favorite child. I mean, sure I have one but I don't admit it in public!

K is my favorite frame size by far. I have in the past given L N frames a try, but always come back to K.
My favorite has to be my model 17 made the year of my birth. Other than perhaps some sort of carry defense gun, it will stay with me as long as I live.

GS, I have a 19-3 that looks almost identical to yours. I certainly agree with you about just how good it feels in my hand and how much of a pleasure it is to shoot. In my opinion, the 19-3 and 19-4 are at the epitome of all S&W revolvers.

Here are 3 of my favorite K Frames, left to right:
Model 10-5 with bull barrel. Like Jim Cirillo's gun on the Stake Out Unit.
Model 67 (no dash) Combat Masterpiece with Spegel designed Uncle Mike
Combat Stocks.
Mode 19-4 Combat Magnum with Herrett's Jordan stocks, and
McGivern gold bead front sight.

After having numerous K frames in 4" barrel I finally tried a 6" model 19 . It is exactly the gun I will always keep . It is light weight and extremely accurate . It handles 357 magnum loads well . I don't shoot 38's in it , just 357 magnum loads . 13 grs of Accurate #9 under a 158 gr cast bullet is a real nice " shoot it all day load " in my model 19 . I have K frame target grips on mine .
