One of my favorite actors that I don't hear much about anymore.

His early work included Film Noir (ex: Laura); and I really enjoyed the 1958 horror film,"The Fly"; and the "House on Haunted Hill" is a personal favorite too.

Anyone else enjoy his films or the genre?

Good Man.

I remember one of his monumental, long forgotten achievements. Circa 1950/1970, He, correlated the efforts of California's Churches, hospitals, physicians, and vintners, to prescribe wine, as a medicine to give patients, especially cancer patients an apatite. This he admirably achieved.

He was also a superb actor.

He played some great scary characters but could also play it for a laugh. I saw him in some cameos on comedy shows. He was very talented. He did a good job across from Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands. He was also one of the bad guys on the 60's Batman tv show.
He did it all.

I liked his intro to Alice Cooper's song "Black Widow"! I can't count how many times I listened to it as a teen.

If you can find it, he did an early WWII film, focused on the fall of the Philippines, I believe, that was his favorite. It's a good flick. I think I found it on Youtube or something.

I'll second "His Kind of Woman", Vincent Price is great. The movie as a whole is good, great cast.

I also remember Vincent Price as the host of "Mystery" on PBS in the 1980's. His intro's to the programs were great, I wish they were available on DVD.

Let's not forget that Vincent Price also curated an art collection you could buy from Sear's. He was a man of many talents.

He was the best "Last Man on Earth". You're stinking up the joint, Chuck Heston and Will Smith.

I had a bachelor uncle who took me to see House on Haunted Hill at the theater in 1959. I was 6 years old. In the movie, when the skeleton came out of the vat of acid, the theater had rigged a skeleton on a wire that flew out over the crowd. Scared the you-know-what outta me. I don't think I recovered till I was about 15!
