I like to hire veterans and former cops to work here in the store. I don't have to be nice to them and we can yell at each other if we need to and still love each other. haha Anyway, one of my Marines was looking at something on the computer earlier when he let out a long curse. Seems he had just read about the Taliban capturing one of our former bases in Musa Qala, Afghanistan's Helmand province. Turns out he had a big part in building the base and is really p.o. ed about it being in enemy hands. I have been running an informal poll among some of our former military customers. "Would you go back if you were allowed to kill what needed to be killed and then come home? So far most everybody says yes.

I know how you feel. My youngest did a tour in Iraq. He's not at all happy about how things have turned out there.

I know how they feel. Same **** happened to us in Vietnam. In some provinces you couldn't shoot at a suspected enemy between sunrise and sunset unless you took fire first. Too damn many political games, that's why I got out.

Even tho I didn't serve in the Saigon area, the renaming to Ho Chi Minh City really frosted my cajones...Slap in the face for all that had made the ultimate sacrifice, ant the other Vets and their families that lived with the ramifications of War...

Is there a way to place explosives in these facilities so that when we are forced to relinquish them to the enemy that we can detonate the explosives after the enemy has settled in?

Doug, I was thinking the same thing last night. Would that be cool or what? Bury a few tons of C4 and rig it for a cell phone detonation. Then leave a message on the latrine wall "for a good time call".
