Online Reliable Ammo Vendors

Has anyone had a negative experience with online ordering of bulk ammo(e.g. 500-1000 rounds) from Lucky Gunner? They have great YouTube instructional videos at the end of which they invite viewers to order from them online. Online reviews of this site are mostly positive. Negative reviews make me wonder. I have only purchased bulk ammo from Cabela's on sale. Any advice is appreciated about this site or your recommendations of other sites. Thanks!

Lucky tends to be on the higher end. I order from either Target Sports USA which has free shipping if you buy by the case or SGammo which does not have free shipping but even with shipping (flat fee) the prices are very good

I generally use SGAmmo. After them, Palmetto State (PSA), and on occasion Mass Ammo.

PSA has some weaknesses in packing, but all of the above have been reliable as to delivery and billing.

No experience with Lucky Gunner.

I bought 500 rds. from LG about 8 years ago when I could not find what I wanted from any other place. Their prices simply are not the best.

I have ordered from sgammo, midwayusa, ammodepot, PSA and outdoorlimited. I live in South Carolina. Midwayusa and outdoorlimited seem to ship almost immediately. Unless there is an ice storm or holiday involved I almost always get their stuff with two or three days. The last time I ordered from outdoorlimited it was on a Saturday and the stuff was delivered on Monday. Sgammo usually takes one extra day. PSA, which is in SC is the slowest. If you don't get your stuff and call their "customer service" they are unapologetic about shipping as slow as snails. Sometimes they have a little lower prices, but I quit ordering from them because of the attitude issue I got last time I called them. If you are like IMI Rifle ammo, Midwayusa is the best place to get it. If you are ordering bulk 5.56 or .223, I don't think you can go wrong if you order from any of the above, except PSA.

I've ordered ammo from several vendors and have had generally good results over all. However, I've ordered quite a lot of bulk ammo from SG Ammo and I have had very good results doing so. When I find something they have listed in their weekly (or so) email listings, I have found it in stock at a good price, it is shipped very quickly, and I have had zero issues in dealing with them. My experience with SG Ammo has resulted in very few orders from other vendors for some time now. I still shop for prices and sometimes I find good deals at Midway on ammo that I do not wish to purchase in case lots or ammo that I wish to try out before buying a large amount of it. If I'm looking for bulk ammo, I always go to SG Ammo first! They have been a great vendor in my experience!

They have limited variety, but prices are excellent. Maybe not by the case, but, for example HST 50 round boxes $17.75.

I've ordered from them several times for SD ammo and have been pleased with shipping cost and delivery time.

I've ordered from 5 or 6 online vendors and generally without issues.

Like others, I am very partial to TargetSports and SGAmmo. Generally great pricing and very reputable.

As a bonus, in the wake of Ammo-geddon in California, both these vendors (as well as LuckyGunner and others) continue to offer online ammo sales to California residents who possess a C&R FFL and a CoE. I like to support vendors who work to help those of us behind the lines in places like CA, MA, NY, etc.

I order from Freedom Munitions or Target Sports. But lately Walmart has had some great deals on Federal and Winchester white 100 round box.

Only place I've ordered from online was Freedom Munitions. They offer free shipping for new customers and on top you can save another 5% by using the mrgunsngear or Sootch_00 discount code in the box. Their shipping is not the fastest. At least 2 weeks but their ammo is very good for the money.
