Ontario CA Gun Show Madness

I drove up to the gun show at the Ontario convention center yesterday and I was amazed at the craziness that was abounding! I got there about an hour and a half early so I could hopefully get some powder but since it was all indoors there was none but I needed a bunch of cleaning supplies and stuff that the San Diego gun shops are all out of. I decided to join the NRA so I could bypass the line to get tickets and hop right into the line to get in which was a deal. The crowd went immediately to the ammo booth which is huge and the madness started as I was nearly trampled by a bunch of 300# guys with LA gang tatoos. I got the stuff I needed and after about and hour and a half decided to leave and to my shock I estimated there were probably 1000 or more people outside waiting in the ticket line to get in! Sure glad I started reloading as the cost of the shells has sky rocketed.

Interesting, you joined the NRA so you could bypass the line. We need more dedicated members like yourself.

Cordwood, my brother, a shooting enthusiast, also joined the NRA at their booth out front of the show and walked right in. He was glad he did so because he had the same disturbing observations as oldracer. Waistgunner

I wonder how many NRA members got signed up.Being nice,It going to take a lot more commitment by a lot more people here in Calif.for us to keep are gun rights.

Waistgunner, I am glad that your brother joined. We need all we can get. Numbers count in this game. What bothers me is the small percentage of gunowners that are members and the fact that so many will let it lapse at the end of the year.
We are at a point that we, as one our founding fathers pointed out, all hang together or will will hang seperately. At no time since the revolution, have we been as threatened as now. Just as in the war of 1812, the enemy has captured Washington and the looting is just begining.
