This one followed me home today. I have a thing for Model 39s. They fit my hand perfectly, they point well and the triggers are generally excellent by DA/SA pistol standards - light DA pull, and very light and crisp SA pull with no creep and a short reset, not 1911 short, but very close.

It came with a matching box, paperwork and a spare magazine. Freshly home, uncleaned and unoiled:

I also love the 39-2's. Don't have a 39 no dash yet but one never knows! Here's a couple of pics that I have posted before but I can't seem to pass up a chance to contribute...there is also a picture on page 343 SCSW 4th edition that I am proud of.

The boxed nickel I've not shot (along with a boxed blue) and probably won't as I have others to shoot. The nickel with blued controls I've shot but I admit only once. I have a blue 39-2 purchased from a forum member that I shoot regularly and it never disappoints. I know you will enjoy yours. Merry Christmas!
