Class III---great pics I'd love to get up there some day I've heard it's a waterfowler's dream.
What is not shown in the picture are the eleven geese that my buddies found when they started to till that 640 acre field the next morning. The best day we have ever had up there was 219 snow's, blue's and ross's. The 219 succumbed to eleven shooters in less than one hour. The only reason we did not make the full 220 limit (11 shooters x 20 per shooter per day) is we ran out of shells. Most shots are less than 30 yards. I shoot a Bennelli SBE2, loaded with 3" #4 steel most of the time while hunting in Canada. When the shoulder starts to get sore from the pounding, yes a SBE2 still kicks no matter what anyone says, I swap out the 3" shells and pull out a box of 2-3/4" low brass #4 steel. Here are a few pictures from the last few years.
Pic #1 - Yeah, we have collected a few of these over the last fifteen years.
Pic #2 - A few ducks that made a fatal error.
Pic #3 - A few more ducks and geese.
Pic #4 - This one dropped after about a half mile crippled flight. Dusty made one hell of a retrieve on this one.
Pic #5 - You never know what will show up while picking up your decoy spread.
These are all in the Watson, Archerwill, Quill Lake, St. Front, Wynyard and Melfort areas of Saskatchewan.
